Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

You will be met our LTT representative on your arrival at Delhi IG Airport and escort to your hotel and help you check in. You will have rest day to the rest and relax from long trip to Delhi.

Day 2: Arrival Leh

Arrival at Leh Kushok Bakula Airport (This must be one of the MOST SENSATIONAL FLIGHTS IN THE WORLD. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif.) Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize.


Day 3: Leh

Post breakfast we drive to Sham Valley. Visit Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill and Confluence of  Indus & Zanskaar River. Visit Leh market in the evening. Overnight at Leh.

Night in Leh.


Day 4: Leh– Nubra Valley (120 kms. / 4-5 hours)

Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.


Day 5: Nubra Valley to Turtuk (88 kms / 2 hrs.)

Post Breakfast we depart to the Baltistan Village Turtuk – the last village in India. You will be greeted by Shyok, a turquoise river which snakes through the valley and crosses the Line of Control to enter Pakistan. At the end of this trail, towards the Indian side, is the tiny little hamlet of Turtuk. On arrival, check into the camps. The rest of the day is free at leisure.


Day 6: Turtuk to Leh

Post breakfast leve for Leh. We stop at Diskit Gompa on the way to capture the beauty of mammoth statue of Maitreya Budha. Overnight at Leh.


Day 7: Leh

Post breakfast leave for local sightseeing and photography opportunity in Leh. We visit Hall of Fame, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Overnight at


Day 8: Leh to Aryan Valley

After breakfast you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh – Kargil Highway to the beautiful Aryan Valley.  There are many small villages but only two villages of Dha and Hanu are open for tourists. Enjoy the afternoon with the Aryans, descendants from the armies of Alexander. Check in at camp for overnight stay.


Day 9: Aryan Valley to Kargil(180 kms / 5-6 hrs.)

Post breakfast you drive to the 11th Century Lamayuru Monastery en route visiting the mesmerizing Moon Landscapes (you will believe why the name of this area is Moonland. Exactly the same formations of Land are visible as on the moon), Lamayuru is spectacularly located along the valley plain and surrounded by mountains on all sides. Finally you arrive back at Leh for an overnight stay at your Hotel.


Day 10: Kargil to Rangdum ( 140 kms / 5-6 hrs )

Drive to Rangdum and visit old Rangdum monastery. Overnight stay at camp.


Day 11: Rangdum to Padum (131 kms / 4-5 hrs)

Drive to Padum , the capital of Zanskar enroute visit sani monastery. Overnight stay at camp.


Day 12: Padum sightseeing

Sightseeing of Padum and surrounding, visit Karsha, Pipi Tong and Stagnimo Monastery. Overnight stay at camp.


Day 13: Padum to Kargil

Return drive to Kargil Overnight stay at Hotel


Day 14: Kargil to Leh

Return back to Leh Via visiting Alchi Monastery.


Day 15: Leh to Pangong Tso

After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake. We visit Thiksey Monastery on the way. We continue moving towards Chang La 5486 Mtrs. The long easy ascent takes you to Changla through its winding roads passing through Sakti Village. Stop at the Changla for a quick photograph session and drive down to the village of Tangtse, where you can relax for a cup of tea. Leaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the “Indo China Border”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After the success of Indian Movie 3 Idiots, this beautiful natural location has attracted more tourists from all over the world. Upon arrival we check in at our Camp near Pangong lake. Dinner & Overnight at the Camp.


Day 16: Pangong Tso to Leh

Wake up calls by the migratory birds this morning. Indulge in the walk beside the lake or go for your photography splurge. Arrive at Leh in second half. Evening free. Overnight in Leh.


Day 17: Local in Leh

Its a day dedicated to review and more of field sessions in Leh to hone photography skills. We visit Matho monastery, Thakthok monastery, Hemis Monastery, Stok Monastery and evening at the banks of Indus river shooting sunset. Overnight in Leh.


Day 18: Departure

Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
