BIOGRAPHY OF TOUR EXPERT
Our Tours adviser and expert Prof. Dr. Lobzang Tsewang was born into an ordinary Ladakhi family in a Shey village at Ladakh. he had studied ten years on Buddhist philosophy courses at Central Institute of Buddhist Higher Studies in Choglamsar, Leh-Ladakh and Pre University from Varanaseya Sanskrit University or Varanasi. he Graduated from Varanaseya Sanskrit University, Varanasi and Post graduated from the Sampuranand Sanskrit University, Varanasi. he has done his Master in philosophy and M.Phil in competitive religion from Punjab University, Patiala. he completes his doctrate and got Ph.D degree from Banaras Hindu University. He has 35 years experience of teaching at the higher classes in Central Institute of Buddhist Higher Studies, leh Ladakh. He did research on many Buddhist subjects. He is an excellent Buddhist philosophy teacher as well as a renowned translator to His Holiness The 14th Dalai lama.
HE DID FOLLOWING TRANSLATION WORK
- Twenty Stanza of Vasubandha in English.
- Theory of relative of Geshe Eshey Thapkas in English.
- An analysis of five and seven fold reasoning in English.
- Sahstamba sutra in English.
- Won Buddhism of satosan in Tibetan.
He published different books in Tibetan and English like Shakya Muni Buddha in English , The system of spiritual paths ground in Tibetan and Selfless of person in Tibetan and many more.
He published unlimited articles in reputed journals in Tibetan and English. Many more articles are still under work -in- progress. He had attended many seminars on national and international on various subjects organized by esteem organizers.
Along with assigned duties of translating for H.H. The Dalai Lama inside and abroad India, he is appointed as the Professor in general philosophy at the central institute of Buddhist studies, choglamsar Leigh- Ladakh.

- Guided tour to the Buddhist Teachings & exploring the local sightseeing at Leh Ladakh.
- You will spend 14 days together, participating guided retreat tour with the experience Buddhist master. This 14 days retreat and teachings tour will be taking place in Ladakh India.
- Rejuvenating with daily morning meditation session; introduction on mindful meditation, partaking in Green tara prayer for removing the obstacle in your life.
- Wake up to the steaming cup of cleansing Tibetan medicinal herbal tea.
- Evening discussions with tour teacher.
- Hear the Tibetan horns—or dharma trumpets—being blown in the pre- dawn hours
- Receive a blessing from the holiness.

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Day 2: Delhi – Leh
Early morning depart for Airport, Our representative will receive you at Leh Kushok Bakula Airport (This must be one of the MOST SENSATIONAL FLIGHTS IN THE WORLD. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif.) and will guide to the Hotel, he will also assist you to do Hotel check-in formalities. After check-in relax for the day. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize. Phodang Guest House Choglamsar Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 3: Local monastery around Leh
Full day excursion to visit Thiksey and Hemis monasteries. It is quite interesting to visit the Thicksey monastery early in the morning to witness the “praying ceremony”. Also visit one of the biggest monasteries of Leh “Hemis”. On the way back visit Shey Palace. Overnight stay at homestay.
Day 4 to 6: Teaching

Day 7: leh to Tsomorii
Morning after breakfast, drive to Tsomoriri Lake (it is located at Korzok in Changtang area), by crossing Chumathang (Hot Springs) along the Indus River. On your arrival check in to the camp / hotel.Rest of the day at disposal to enjoy a walk around the Lake. The pleasant beauty of the landscape around Tsomoriri is captivating and is abuzz with activity of local fauna. Tsomoriri is home of to Marmot (Himalayan Prairie dogs) and number of winged visitors from the extreme northern parts of our planet. O/N Korzok Nomadic life Camp.
Breakfast/ lunch / Dinner
Day 8: Tsomoriri – Tsokar - Taglangla – Leh 260 Kms/ 8-9 Hrs
Morning after breakfast, leave for Leh passing Puga (Sulphur Mine), Tsokar Lake, another important lake surrounded by meadows and wetland, Taklang La Pass 17,585ft, the second highest motorable road in the world. Reach Leh by evening. O/N Leh.
Day 9: orical and Amchi evening

Day 10: Leh - Lamayuru 125 Kms/ 5-6 Hrs
Post breakfast you drive to the 11th Century Lamayuru Monastery en route visiting the mesmerizing Moon Landscapes (you will believe why the name of this area is Moonland. Exactly the same formations of Land are visible as on the moon), Lamayuru is spectacularly located along the valley plain and surrounded by mountains on all sides.
Day 11: lamayuru to Dha Hanu
After breakfast, leave for Dha, visit Dha Village. The people that inhabit this area are considered as last race of Indo Aryans, not only their attire is highly decorated with jewellery and flowers, their features are also quite distinct.
Overnight stay at Dha Home stay
Day 12: Dha to Leh
After breakfast, drive to Leh enroute visit Alchi monastery, it is the most famous and the largest of all the monasteries built by Lotsava Rinchen zangpo, (great translator from 11th century),and Hall of Fame, it was established as homage for the martyrs of Kargil war. Arrive at Leh by afternoon. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure. O/N Leh
Day 13: Leisure Day
